cPanel Backups Brings VPS to 100%

I bet this is normal, but it is ok that daily full backups of my site bring the processor to 100%?

I have welovebigbrother.com hosted on a Freedom plan VPS. I have my WHM scheduled to do daily full backups. When these occur at night they take the CPU to 100%. It then FTP's it to a remote server.

    Is this OK/normal?

Is there a way I can schedule WHEN it does the backups...later in the night?

On a side note, these backups that I do in WHM include the cPanel config as well as all data and mySQL, correct?

    Thanks

Yes, this is normal on a VPS server. You can change the cron time of your VPS and a technician can assist with this if you wish by opening a ticket.

The backups include everything needed to restore each individual account as it was left so that includes Cpanel configurations as well.
