probally because the price point will not allow for discounts, JPC has to make a profit.
TBH I would be interested in prepaying my server even without a discount IF I could find an easy way to ensure it was credited correctly!
Currently I get an email the DAY its due, and thats when I pay, I'd rather have the option to pay 3 months at a time.
you should get an invoice , well pre-invoice notice, 5 days out. theres constant improvements in billing be made and tons more to come

To be honest Greg, you said that to me a couple of months ago, but I don't receive anythingOriginally Posted by Jag
As a host Jaguar are the best I have been with, but its so hard to pay you... I know you don't cut people off because thay might be a few days late, but I don't want to be late at all, that way if there is ever a genuine problem, I know you will be certain to give me the benefit of the doubt.
I also know theoretically I can pay you anytime via paypal, but I am concerned that without reference numbers/invoices it will not get tied together with my account and I'm a coward.
In 3 of my previous hosts worldpay was an option, and I could set up a standing charge simply and easily, those were also US based hosts, so I know there isnt a problem because of geographcal location, perhaps you ight consider that option?
PSand I am extremely happy I joined your family so please dont think I'm complaining, I have been with poor hosts, and know enough to know where I am well off, but that doesn't mean there are not area's where even your company can improve.
When I was on monthly billing I always received a pre bill statement or e-mail. That was for 3 different sites, so I received 3 pre billing statements, or e-mails.
If your not receiving those then it may have to do with your spam filters.

Just noticed this was in regard to a VPS. I'm on shared servers. So I'm not sure if the billing is different for VPS vs Shared, but I doubt it.

No spam filters are in use currently connie and I receive everything else thats sentfrom JPC, including the invoice sent the day the bill is due, but thanks for the thought![]()
no the billing and invoice mails dont care what plan is on the invoice, it just cycles all dates due 5 days from today and it mails them. maybe we dont have the right emails on file or something?
I'll get some mail tracking in place next to pin down all things that leave the system. Also we'll have paypal subscriptions setup soon for you paypalers

I would love to have the opportunity to pay quarterly through something on my bank's billpay. Any idea how to set it on your end?
Thanks
Most banks will simply cut a check to the payee if they don't have an ECH agreement with them already. Jag has routinely said that you can prepay your account if you wish, so there shouldn't be any problem with this.
To set up ECH transfers, JPC would probably have to provide your bank with a routing and transit number for their bank and the account number for the account they want to receive payments into. I'd PM Jag and ask if this is something he'd consider.
