I had a similar problem and finally requesteda move to a new node when I was informed that the high cpu was do to disk cleanup be run to free up space as the drive was almost full...
That might not have been so bad, except I technically still had 15 gig of unused disk space on my VPS... which said to me that the node I was on may have been slightly oversold. I opened a new ticket, voiced my concerns and requested a move.
The move was made yesterday, and not a single high cpu or memory issue has been noted in the past 24 hours since the vps came back online. I had known it was not something happening on my VPS, it was simply sharing issues, someone on Triton is a hog, and I was suffering for it, but the JPC team was quick to help me out when I requested it.....

If you're not seeing anything happening on your vps to justify the high use, request an accounting of what is causing it, if it is another vps on your node causing the problem, I'd suggest requesting a move to something a bit less crowded.
