Working in cPanel BEFORE the domains resolve

Can anyone share the proper syntax or methodology to use cPanel client on individual VPS accounts BEFORE the domains actually resolve?

I know I can see the sites as http://123.45.67.890/~clientfolder

but when I attempt to add /cpanel to that to add their email boxes, forwarders etc. it doesn't go thru.

Appreciate any assistance as I have LOTS of these to add...thanks!

Try this:

https://123.45.67.890:2086

Enter your (their?) cpanel username and password as usual

Thanks for your kind assistance. The exact example didn't work, but it was close enough to get me to:

http://123.56.67.8:2082 which is the cpanel client login - basically the server ip plus :2082 for client, :2086 for web host manager.

https://123.2342342.3.234.24:2083 is the secure version.

Sorry, I gave a very bad answer there. I meant 3 (secure CPanel port), but gave you 6 (which is non-secure WHM port. I guess I'm having a really bad day!)
