Possible Trojan Horses according to cPanel ?

    Hi,

When performing a scan for trojan horses, I get the following alarming list

    Appears Clean
    /dev/stderr
    Scanning for Trojan Horses
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/curl
    Possible Trojan - /usr/lib/libcurlla
    Possible Trojan - /usr/lib/libmhashla
    Possible Trojan - /usr/lib/cron/run-crons
    Possible Trojan - /usr/lib/libmcryptla
    Possible Trojan - /usr/lib/libmcryptso447
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/dbiprof
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/libmcrypt-config
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/cpan
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/pod2man
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/pod2usage
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/podchecker
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/podselect
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/pstruct
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/splain
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/xsubpp
    Possible Trojan - /usr/lib/libmhashso200
    Possible Trojan - /usr/bin/curl-config
    18 POSSIBLE Trojans Detected

Since my environment is quite fresh, I suspect (and I sure do hope) that these are just standard messages not to worry about?

Anybody the same experience, thoughts, reflections ? What should I do?
    Regards,
    Johan

Most likely 'falses'... but I'd submit a ticket to Tech Support, just to make sure.

That WHM test, I presume? Don't worry about it, that seems to be normal for it . Have a look around these boards (if the search works again) and the net for more info.

Either never use that test again, or write down the list you have now, so you will only have to pursue unexpected changes you see next time you run it.
