Just run your own install...
That's 99% of the fun!
The cPanel version blows!

DISCLAIMER Any resemblance between the views expressed above and those of the owners and operators of this system is purely coincidental. Any resemblance between these views and my own are non-deterministic. The existence of Vin DSL is questionable. The existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is problematic. The existence of the reader is left as an exercise in the second-order coefficient.
You can access the CPanel webmail interface via any of the following urls:
= Non-encrypted access =
http://yourdomain.com/webmail
http://yourdomain.com:2095
= SSL encrypted (secure) access =
https://servername.nocdirect.com/webmail
https://servername.nocdirect.com:2096
Of course, replace your domain name or server name as appropriate.

Regarding SquirrelMail, I have a lot of clients on VPS and need to delete their old email...I note that squirrelmail has a plugin to do this, but I can't even see what version of SquirrelMail is the default running on cPanel in Jaguar. Just wondering if this is something Jaguar would install or has already installed...certainly, a number of features such as spellchecking and mailexpiration don't appear to be there.
Now I'm confused...
I thought the title was "Squirrel Mail without cpanel", but now I see it's "Squirrel Main without cpanel". Both of these contain the words "without cpanel". However, now it looks like you want to use SquirrelMail WITH cPanel.
Heh! Do you want to use cPanel or not?![]()

Okay, be that way...![]()
If it was me -- if I had clients -- and so forth, and so on -- I would run my own install of SquirrelMail and forget cPanel. I *thought* that's what you were asking about.
And, I would provide a nice skin for my clients, such as:

Anyway, good luck!

Heh! Okay, I get it now...
We were talking to two different ppl. Both of them want to use the cPanel version of SquirrelMail, but only one of them wants to use the cPanel version. The other one wants to use the cPanel version.
Got it! Thanks!![]()
