Quick question, couldn't see the answer

Ok, I am currently using the Shared Hosting plan from JPc along with apache on my PC at home for my website, and I am looking to upgrade to the Freedom VPS Plan, but I have a few questions first.

    1. What is the default version of MySQL?

    2. What is the default version of PHP?

    3. Do the servers have mod_rewrite enabled?

    4. How simple is it to switch from the Shared to VPS?

    Thanks in advance!

I *think* the first three are up to you, but I don't know that for a fact.

The fourth is a combination of luck and experience. However, I'm sure JagPC will be glad to assist you in the move -- maybe even do the whole thing themselves.

Assuming you are taking up a vps with cpanel,

    1. What is the default version of MySQL?

    Usually 4.1

    2. What is the default version of PHP?

    php-4.4.4
    3. Do the servers have mod_rewrite enabled?
    Yes
    4. How simple is it to switch from the Shared to VPS?
Easy enough if its a shared -> cpanel vps switch, your ip will change.
