Mail queue problem

We just signed up with jaguarpc. And I am not sure how is mail handled but we didn't have this issue on previous host. We use hosting mostly for vbulletin board. It has around 2600 members atm. And we need to send out mass email to them every few days or weeks, it depends. I sent one last night and I noticed in plesk that a lot of emails got queued.
But even without mass email seems that every mail is now queued. Members have to get activation email instantly. And they are not getting it straight away now. How can we sort this out?
A friend purchased a hosting so I don't want to bother him with filling in a ticket just yet.
BTW is access to https://secure.jaguarpc.com/clients/
restricted somehow by ip or something. Because I can't login with his email and password.

On the mailings... I *think* an account can only send out so many mails per hour, or whatever. There was a discussion about this not too long ago. I'll see if I can find it...

On the client login, I've never used an addy. I've always used my username, and it works fine. So, you might try that.

Thx Vin. I'll have to reconsider my options. That email restriction doesn't suit us at all. It is pretty important to send out these emails asap when there is a need to send them.
