Control when VPS removes raw logs ?

My VPS will only keep logs for the current day, then they are removed... I would like to keep these permanently and then manually remove them after I have them backed up.

How can I change this from deleting them after 1 day ?

    Thanks !

Can you please elaborate which logs you are referring to?

If you are using whm/cpanel on your vps, under whm -> tweak settings you have the option to disable daily deletion of logs.

I'd be interested in info about this, too. But from my experience, httpd logs are rotated after 7 days (looking at contents of ~/var/[id]/logs).

It'd be interesting to be able to keep the logs/turn off the rotation. I use Interworx, and it appears like that's what sets up the rotation cron job. But there doesn't seem to be any way to configure that.

I am not sure how interworx handles the rotation, it is probably automated for all the logs together. You could open a support ticket so we could take a look at your server and see if there is an option to change the log rotation duration.
