    Suggested WebHost Account Settings?

    Hello,

Is there a list out there of Suggested Settings for Siteworx Account Setup?
ie: Storage space, bandwidth, email aliases, autoresponders, etc...

I have a VPS with Interworx CP and would like to know a typical setup for "sparse", "moderate" and "heavy" usage. I thought of just looking at web host offerings, but they offer massive amounts of space that most sites will never even brgin to use.
    My entire setup includes
    20 GB HD
    250 Gig Bandwidth
    256 MB RAM

So, how do I divvy it up appropriately amongst my web host clients?

    Thanks for any advice.

you have to figure out what kind of clients your going for first, how many you might want per vps, and then work the numbers to offer a plan.

Remember too that those other hosts are most likely overselling. In other words, they may offer 5 Gb of space per account, but know that most clients use less than 500 Mb each. So instead of limiting a 20 Gb server (for illustartive purposes) to four 5 Gb accounts, they may actually have 40 (or more) accounts and the hopes that not too many customers will actually try to use the full amount allowed.

If you decided to oversell, be sure to watch your disc usage religiously to anticipate and mitigate problems before they happen.

20 GB HD available for clients, or total, software included?

The disk space on vps plans is total disk space of the virtual server. The OS and software usually takes ~500MB depending on what you install.
