Joint purchase with partner, sites gone can someone help????

    Hey Guys

To cut a VERY long story short my partner was paying for a VPS and then disapeared so I left my sites on the server and then just today the VPS is down....

So I imagine he has stop paying? I can login into the VPS panel but not the WHM.....

Anyway if I could hand some details to jaguar PC could they recover a FULL backup of my sites?

    I am REALLY worried.......

    Dan

    Prepare to be REALLY disappointed.......

Maybe you can talk 'them' into maintaining a full backup of the site, for a certain length of time. That would seem like a decent thing to do... but, I highly doubt that 'they' are going to hand you the keys to the fort.

Better get a hold of your 'partner' posthaste!

Hmm.. he already has the VPS Panel login and probably lots of other nifty internal details and / or documents to show involvement / possible ownership of the site AND the original account holder probably has gone missing without paying up or cancelling. Also, for now the VPS seems to exist still. Personally that doesn't sound totally hopeless to me. After some additional verification and giving it some time to try and get hold of the registered account holder, why not "hand over the keys to the fort", as you call it?

Just do get hold of sales on the double, as you need to keep 'm from throwing the data away altogether, as one tends to do when one cleaning up after a client stopped paying his bills.

and in the future, and for any looking at something like this.

HAVE SOME KIND OF LEGAL DOCUMENTATION that shows your both part owners, How the dissilution of the site will be if one decideds to opt out.

Better yet, Start a Partnership or LLC company, most states this is very very very very easy, and have EVERYTHING including the hosting in the company name.

    'A priori assumption'...
