    vps nameserver setup question

I moved to a vps and it got activated last night. I registered private nameservers with the ips earlier today but their not resolving yet. When I look around the WHM all of the nameservers are JPC generics at ns3 and ns4.nocdirect.com. So should I go ahead and change the nameservers and IPs in the WHM? I'm in new territory here?

Also, I can't access the sites on the vps using http://ipaddress/~username as I could with my shared account before the ns resolved. Is there any way to do this on a vps?

    Thanks

    Hello,

you can can change the name servers in whm under basic setup. as for accessing the user accounts with the ~ it should be enabled, however cpanel may be blocking it. go to the security section and click tweak security, the option that says mod_userdir tweak may be on.

Thanks! ~ is working now and I think the ns are ok. Hopefully the ns' registrations will resolve tomorrow.
