I have a VPS on Draco node, the CPU Load is very high since yesterday, Load Average 2.74, 2.4, 1.7
Is anyone else suffering same pain or just myself?

Trust me I am suffering and have been for a considerable time, at present Draco is virtually unuseable.
Um...
I'm not on Draco, so I haven't experienced it directly, but...
I don't really consider those numbers to be 'high'. I've seen loads go 100.00+ here -- couldn't believe the server was still responding! No kidding...
Must be something else going on!
How are the disks doing?

Hoho, tech support keep asking to upgrade to a Dedicated Server, and told me my site is consuming 80% of CPU.
But in fact, there is only less than 10 simultaneous users are visiting my site.
Jag, thumb down
Aha!
Well, that's a different situation...
Gotta run... BBL

What are you running on your site? It sounds like something you have on there is not behaving properly and that's what's shooting up your resource usage. It sounds very much like something isn't shutting down properly--maybe database connections aren't closing or something.
Number of users doesn't mean a whole lot in terms of server performance. I've single handedly brought down development servers because of bad code--I don't need anyone else on the server at the same time to be able to do it, just a couple of endless loops.

Barry (it is Barry correct?) your site loads okay here but indeed when doing a Service Scan with http://centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx port 80 times out with an error.
BTW nice looking forum - will have to make an account for myself there. I have a Fuji s602z and looking to get a Nikon d something with my tax return! After getting my wife a nice sewing machineof course!
Sorry, but if you are using 80% of CPU, your site is the reason why the rest of us have an unusable server.
What has changed in the past 48 hours, have you installed new software, or perhaps upgraded some software, or even put a new skin on some existing software? Because I have to say until yesterday everything has been working reasonably well.
In fact until a week ago I would have said the server was extremely good, but last week it slowed slightly, yesterday it all but died.
Indeed your site is slow Rebel007, I just registered a new account and it is taking forever to process! Still nothing - just hanging at 25% page loaded... Still nothing - rehit complete registration - nothing!
Having problems here as well since about 2 days ago ...![]()
