Since you mention that you are using a database it implies that you are using some kind of content managment system (like a true CMS, a blog, or whatever). My guess is that you need to set up some rewriting rules in a file called .htaccess that points the search engine friendly URL's that your system creates to the true path of your system's scripts.

Without knowing what system you are using it is difficult to give you any guidance, but I'd recommend checking the system's documentation for such terms as ".htaccess," "mod_rewrite," "URL rewriting," "friendly URL's."

If you post the name of the software package you are we might be able to give you better guidance.

it does appear to be an htaccess issues, since this looks to be Commercial Software I would contact the Developers for help, their web site is TERRIBLE and has ZERO support information on it,

if you just bought this software, IMO I would seek a refund unless they are offering better support via other channels then I am aware of.

Yeah, that looks like those pyramid sites. What they do is buy a crappy product with resell rights for virtually nothing and then resell it. They usually have no idea about the program itself or even PHP for that manner. I'd get your money back if you still have a chance.

Just as an Addon to this, if you bought this software in the last 90days, and they refuse a Refund, Dispute the Charge on your Card as "Product not delivered as Advertised" or "not Usable as Advertised" I would go with the "delivered" wording, as this was probably delivered Electronically and therefore not protected by any Merchant account or 3pp seller protection programs and gets you an instant credit for the charge.

However if you want to use this software, and cant get help from the developers (I would strong advise against using unsupported software) then more info need to be had about how the software is processing the requests so a proper htaccess file can be written.

Alternatively I am sure many here can recommend other programs just as good opr better that would meet your needs and probably not cost you a dime

I would call it a typical Marketers site out of the early 2000 period. Somewhere toward the bottom of the page it said you are getting something like $11,000.00 in extras for $97.00.

Better yet If I understood that extremely long sales page I have full reseller rights.

If nothing else that should cause some kind of flag to go up.

Good luck with getting a response to any refund requests.

Alstrasoft is becoming notorious for taking in new customers and then completely abandoning them when they need support.

Read up on the horrors of Alstrasoft here.

Also, being that JaguarPC is in effect teaming up with Alstrasoft as their official host - I urge anyone with a stake in JaguarPC's reputation to consider the repercussions of their hosting customers being victimized by Alstrasoft.

    Sigh...

Now you disappeared off the radar screen! Where'd you go?

Did I offend you in some way?

All right, let's throw our cards on the table... what's your grivience?

Ha, bro the force is not strong with you

I know how it works. I've made money off the process (affiliating with both companies - I am an affiliate marketer), not that I have to explain this to you... but it seems I should as so far it's over your head.

I affiliated with Alstrasoft - now I have their unsatisfied customers complaining to me.

I currently affiliate with JaguarPC - I still highly recommend them.

    Backend deal LMAO!!!!!!

The customers pocket is the one that suffers, when a script costs $500+ ... minus the $100 discount for hosting with JaguarPC.

Now JaguarPC is stuck supporting a script that the developer (original?) won't even support...

    Hi digglah, Vin DSL,
Enough please ! No need to bicker, you both have seperate opinions so leave it at that. As for Jags view of this we host many Alstrasoft Clients currently and many continue to sign up, we have not as yet had any serious issues that warrant us removing our support of the script.
