Well, I Seem to Have Jacked Something Up Right Out of the Gate...

    Hi All:

Just signed up here after a horrific experience with another unnmed host with the initials GD.

I just got my VPS set up, and wanting to be secure and all, enabled the firewall via the VZPP.

    Now, I can't access WHM\cPanel.

    Any ideas?

"firewall via the VZPP" a common mistake which blocks all ports with a default DROP policy, where you will need to open specific ports like 2082 2083 for cpanel, 2086 2087 for whm. Or you can reset the firewall with default ACCEPT policy from vzpp. Or you can ask the support to install APF firewall.

Reseting with default ACCEPT did the trick, thanks.

I was going to contact support about installing APF, but I was also curious if JPC supports CSF (http://www.configserver.com/cp/csf.html)?

    Thanks again.

We do not support CSF but you are more than welcome to use it on your vps if you can

    Hi

Did you install CFS on you VPS?

I would like to use this my self, and I know some VPS does not have all the "iptables" installed that CFS needs to function properly.
