    12 hour maintenance?

A friend just said my site has been down for the past 12 hours. It displays this message:
Please try again in a few seconds

This server is currently under maintenance. It should be back online in several seconds.

    To reload this page:
    # Click "Refresh" or "Reload" button in your browser
Sounds like some extremely heavy maintenance. Everything is allright, I hope?

Also, on the Network Status page, a lot of the servers only have SSH and no Http, MySQL, FTP, SSH, POP3, SMTP, Https & Cpanel, including mine.

There is no server that is going through maintenance at this time. Please login to your client area and open a support ticket. Looks like your vps is sending this message and may have something configured or misconfigured there.

The SSH only machines on network status page are VPS nodes.

I did open a support ticket, but it has been 'Assigned' for half an hour now. Guess they're looking into it. I hope it's fixed soon

I got a reply. Seems there was an ip conflict and they had to give me another ip.

Edit: They updated my dns, but they let it point to the wrong ip.

Edit: This is taking way too long

I updated my browser (Maxthon) and let it restart before I finished the post... I was going to say what Masood said, the servers listed in the Network Status page that only have SSH are VPS nodes.

I also was going to ask you if you had service monitoring set up in WHM for your services on the VPS and have the system email you when a service is down.

The changeover to a new server has helped me understand DNS better! Had some issues that were exasperated by a cPanel update gone bad. All is well - support guided me to the right path.

I like the challenge of getting things working properly.

Masood is this IP deal happening too much, seems like this is the third time I have read about it recently? Has anyone listened to my suggestions for the checklist for server changeovers?

Seems like the problem is fixed. Now I just have to wait until the DNS has propagated.

I wish they'd listen to you, so nobody else has to go through this.

Yes, we are aware of the IP conflicts and all concerned personnel have been notified.
