VPS is backing-up at the moment

Hello,

Well I got the VPS about 8 days ago, And I've had about 80% of downtime due to about 2 things, in Virtnozzo panel is saying "VPS is backing-up at the moment", and techs not knowing how to setup the APF firewall. Terns out when you setup the firewall, you need the SSH port open and the cpanel ports open to (Doh?). I've sent them a ticket to them (about the backing-up) about 2 days ago thay said they've seen this problem before and are going to contact SwSoft about it. Well somehow the server got back online and was working for some time then the VPS said it was backing up again. So for the last 9 hours I've been unable to work on my server freely. Whats odd about this is that I don't even have FTP back with jaguar.

To top this all of. I hate downtime!

lol wow. Every time I order a VPS to try it out something goes wrong, sites drop, or something doesn't work.

Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for the bugs to be worked out...

VPS's are for cheap ppl that cant get dedicated servers...


I wish I had the money for a dedicated. Oh, and thay fixed the problem, Hopefully for good!

VPS is for peole that don't need the resources of dedicated box. I currently have both and find no need to spend extra money of a ded box when VPS suits the need just fine.
