    New Account Can't Log Onto CPanel

    I've lurked around and found a similar thread http://www.jaguarpc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13941, but nothing that exactly
    fits my situation. I started a new shared account Saturday. The DNS information seems to have propagated, but I can't log on to CPanel or FTP files. My FTP client seems to get the expected response from "jthewhol" as a username, but won't accept my password.

    I followed the DNS transfer instructions at aletianic.com before I even found the FAQ Database, so I may have shot myself in the foot there, but I don't see anything about retrieving the CPanel password. It *should* be the same as the WHM password, shouldn't it?

    Do I need to open a ticket to fix this? Is there an appropriate buzzword I can use to keep this from costing me an additioanl charge?

    There is no additional charge for it. This is included in support. You can open a support ticket with the username/password that you are using so that we can check it and reset it if required.

    Is the the main account or an additional FTP account. If additional you must log in using username@domain.com
