    Your opinions: Plesk, Windows VPS

Alright you all Plesk lovers, lets see what makes Plesk for Windows such a good product.

Hehe, this will sound a bit silly, but I love Plesk because of its looks. When it comes to design, I am too needy It has an awesome interface, very clean, very stylish and pretty easy to navigate. For the end-user, these things are important I'd say.

Another awesome thing about Plesk, almost everything that you need to start out with, comes preinstalled. ASP, PHP, Perl, FrontPage, Statistic tools, backup tool and *many* other little things. Some require separate installation, like MySQL, and some require PowerPack in order to be able use them, like MS SQL or TomCat.

What I don't like about Plesk is that you couldn't put a PHP 5 on your Windows VPS and have every component of Plesk running properly. If someone hasn't noticed yet, Plesk runs on PHP and Apache. Huh, you wonder, you never installed Apache. Well, it has been installed during the Plesk installation. It's basically a Linux product amended to work on Windows as well. Because of this, it is slower than Helm, however, it does its job decently. Also, support for ASP 2 wasn't present until just a few days ago, when the new 7.5.6 version arrived. However, these little things shouldn't stop you from trying Plesk if you already haven't, because it is a good piece of software.

So, what is your experience with Plesk? You love it, or you hate it? Those who don't have any experience with Plesk, but do have questions, just shoot.

    Plesk

I had used PLESK control panel previously and my customers used to complain that they cannot login to the control panel if they are behind firewalls. Most of the corporate companies have blocked access to https using firewalls. Also bandwidth is consumed per allocation and not by usage like HELM.

When it comes to MSDE, Tomcat then yes. It is better one.
