DirectAdmin via SSL?

Two questions:

1/ Is it possible to access DirectAdmin using SSL (https?

2/ Since DA has access to many system functions, shouldn't it *always* use SSL? It's pretty insecure to send root passwords unencrypted over the internet, isn't it?

1. Yes. You would have to set SSL=1 in the directadmin.conf file. You can read more about it at: http://www.directadmin.com/installguide.html

2. Yes I would recommand to always use SSL to login.
