    SQL Express Support

I'm doing DUE DILLIGENCE for getting a Windows VPS to power my personal and freelance development projects. I was going to install SQL Server 2005, but after discovering the memory requirements I realized that none of my projects really need THAT MUCH power, and that SQL Express will be sufficent. So, is there any way to find out if Plesk will support it?

According to this thread at the swsoft forums it should work with some adjusted settings: http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?threadid=30586

Note that most of our users who don't want to pay for a MS SQL license use MSDE instead, which is free.

My whole reason for switching hosts is that I want to have the latest form MS in .NET and SQL Server. Using Express isn't about not wanting to pay. I have a liscence, but sales keeps telling me that SQL needs alot of ram, and I was even told through email now that they not reccomend that I run SQL and Plesk on a Starter plan. So I'm now looking at using HELM instead.
