    Question Databases

    Hi,
Can somebody tell me the path for mysql and mssql at helm?
Mysql could be "localhost"? And mssql?
And the path to the web interface for each one (like phpmyadmin)?

    Regards,
    winger

Yes the path to MySQL on your VPS is localhost. I would guess that the same path would work when trying to connect to MSSQL but im not sure.

As for phpmyadmin the way i set it up is to upload it to a subdomain of one of my domains.

    Hey Ricardo,

    How are you?

What Paul said is correct, localhost is indeed the way to go. For MSSQL it should be the name of the instance, by default this is VPSXXX where XXX is your VPS ID. In case you installed MSSQL yourself and gave it a different name, you should use that instead.

    Ricardo,

    I'm good, thanks.

You will have to install phpmyadmin separately, it's not included with Helm (it is included in Plesk for Windows though).

P.S. Could you resend that email? I believe I missed out on it.

That's alright, good software. But that's for MSSQL/MSDE, not for MySQL (like phpmyadmin).

It is possible, however keep in mind that your customer won't be able to administer MSDE via Helm, because Helm doesn't support it. It would only be possible to use SQL server, and he would have to provide a license for it on his own (which is costy), so you might want to look into Plesk for Windows as well (because it supports MSDE and you can easily manage it).
