VPS Backup

Hi,

It seems like DEHE is now doing automated backup with Virtuozzo for all VPS. (I heard that from a troubleticket).

We can see these backup in Virtuozzo logs "status chage":

Oct 30, 2006 10:49:01 AM (backing-up) running
Oct 30, 2006 10:07:01 AM running (backing-up)

I've got two questions about this:

1- Is it possible to determine the hour when these backup are done? (as they can create some server load on the VPS)
2- Is it normal that we can't access these backup from virtuozzo "maintenance"? ("No Backups are stored for this VPS.")

The backups will run at different times each night, but most likely around the same time for your particular VE. The node backups start at the same time each night, but it can't be guaranteed each VE will be backed up at the same time.

It's normal for now that you aren't able to access the backups from VZPP. We haven't configured the nodes to be able to do this yet, but may be allowing this in the future.
