Zend optimizer

Hi
I have been searching this forum but could not find any information that I could understand to install Zend optimizer. Can anyone explain me how to do this step by step. I have no idea how to connect or use Shell Access.
The support might be able to do this for me but I don't want to disturb them if it can be done easily. I hope you can help.

It’s just really a matter of downloading unpacking and installing via SSH. By default cPanel should come with Zend all you have do is run the installer. So goto SSH and log on a Root, then run

/scripts/installzendopt

and follow the on-screen instructions

Thank you Rob for your reply. I searched this forum and Andre said there was a bug with this install in this topic so I didn't try it and I couldn't do anything with the "pico" method.
Zend optimizer is now working

Hi chadon,

That topic of mine is quite old - cPanel has fixed that problem quite a while ago. The installzendopt script should be working just fine again nowadays
