    Backups

Hello, I have question about backups... here is my plan:

I discovered backup option in Virtuozzo, so I will use this option to create full VPS backup everytime I change any setting on server (most likely in WHM/cPanel only).

I also ordered 10GB FTB backup space from DEHE and I will use it to store account data backups there (automated script via Cron - database+files).

Do you think this is enough protection? I was thinking about backing up also WHM/cPanel config files, but I dont know how. WMH's backup feature seems to require 2nd drive, it can't store WHM config backup on remote FTP. And backing it up to same drive is probably pointless... is it even possible?

    Maybe I am too paranoid.

I always keep a backup off network as well as use other backup systems. I dont know if maybe theres too much data for you to backup to your local system or not. whm/cpanel is really pretty stock and easy to restore. I wouldnt really bother with backing up the configs but if you want to backup your cpanel configs you should be able to just go straight to them on the command line and make copies.

    check in /var/cpanel/
