    Disc Usage

    Hi everybody

i want to ask question for vps.i am newbie and i have vps server from jaguarpc. My vps disc usage percents %24 but i have uploaded 200 mb files. Also is it normal? i have freedom plans for vps. Another my question is i have get mail from my VHM

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (vps........com) resolves to . It should resolve to 69.73...... Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
    believe everything else is correct.

    You may be able to
automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager

what can i do for email?

    thanks for patience

About your disk space. The servers are not installed on the spot, instead Jag uses a pre-made image, as a result there are lots of apps in there that you dont need (check your /usr/local/*). In addition, your disk space also counts the entire operating system (a few gigs usualy).

About that email, its very common and its because the "vps.something.domain" is not pointing to the correct IP address. Just go to your WHM under DNS Functions -> Edit DNS Zone -> select your main domain -> Change the IP address for 'vps'. You'll see an entry like:

    vps 14400 IN A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

change the IP to the correct one.
