    Talking Addon domains issue

    Hello everyone!

I just purchased my first VPS from JPC a few days ago (after being convinced by the community here), so yes, I'm a noob. Be gentle.

So anyways, I've been having some issues readding an add-on domain I deleted via cPanel:

Bind reloading on myserver using rndc zone: [mydomain.com] The subdomain, whatever.mydomain.com has been added.
Error from park wrapper: theotherdomain.com is already configured.

Removed Entry from httpd.conf The subdomain, whatever.mydomain.com has been removed.

theotherdomain.com could not be setup. The subdomain whatever.mydomain.com was not setup either.
I did a Google search and these were the solutions offered:

Normally this is because the domain is still listed in a config file, either /etc/localdomains, /etc/userdomains, /var/cpanel/users/*, or httpd.conf.
I've checked the file manager on this particular domain, and no joy.

I'm wondering what I can do to fix it.

    Any ideas?

Which version of WHM are you on? I have had similar issues on another provider, and they upgraded my cPanel it everything worked out after.

Unfortunatley I do not recall the old or new version numbers that related to this issue.

    Thanks for replying!

I'm using WHM 10.8.0, which I assume is the latest, most stable version.

Hmm. Guess I have more troubleshooting to do.

Please either open a support ticket or PM me your VPS Hostname and we will check it out and also let you know that what was the cause of it.

I figured I would try to solve it on my own, since I want to learn as much as I can.

However, I am stumped, so I am fully opening a support ticket.
