HOTTO :install CURLwith SSL Support ????

Trying to install CURL so that WHMCS can function correctly,

when i go to IN CPANEL) software . Apache updater > Curl (Version 7.15.3) + Curl SSL Support (Version 2.8.28)

then start build, the folloing error comes up,

Checking Update System........Your operating system's rpm update method (yum) was not able to locate the glibc package. This is an indication of an improper setup. You must correct this error before you can proceed.
Please correct the conflicts and try again!

i am running

WHM 11.1.0 cPanel 11.4.18-R14158
CENTOS Enterprise 4.4 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0
