whm cpanel fantastico hsphere plesk - which is the best combination

Hello everybody here... It's me again.

I have read somewehere that combination of cpanel whm fantastico makes your web hosting much easier. I have seen in the Jaguarpc's plans that, you offer several control panel options. So want to know from you - what do you think about this combination.

Is there anything better than this?

As far I know hsphere is not that much secure. And there are so many features you get with the above combination. To mention here - one click installation for forums, blog and other script upgrades.

    Thanks in advance.

Although I've administered several servers, none have been in the bulk hosting industry, so I'ev never used any control panels from much more than the end user perspective. While I typically find cPanel to be mediocre for a lot of tasks it does have a pretty good interface (depending on skin, of course) and a high market saturation makeing "cPanel hosting" attractive to site owners with little to no technical experience. Combined with Fantastico it gives you a pretty attractive hosting offering that can attract a lot of people. cPanel's Web Host Manager (WHM) goes even farther allowing you to do a lot of the server maintenance work "Windows Update" style instead of having to manually download, compile, and install updates the way you sometimes must in "normal" Unix environments. Of course, to ensure this level of ease of you you are limited to that software which cPanel supports. If you need a specialized environment it can be difficult to do on a cPanel server.

Other control panels don't give the user or the admin quite as much automation but do afford more flexibility if you are willing to do everything by hand.

My advice is to look at the features and supported software of several control panels and seee which ones support what you want to do. You may have to trade a few features for convenience or a well established name for customization, but you have to make that call.

Installatron is also another good install script. It has more scripts as well and is also easier to use than fantastico and a lot cheaper .

But at the end of the day they both do the same thing but fantastico is better known to the public

Obviously JaugarPC thinks cpanel/fantastico is a good combo as that is what we offer on our shared hosting platforms. After many requests we also added rvskin so you may consider that for the project you have in mind.
