    Question Addon domains again

I decided to do some switcheroos today and messed up. I'm hoping someone can help demystify this for me a bit.

I went into WHM and swapped one domain name for another one using the Modify an Account option under Account Functions. I didn't change usernames or anything, just what domain name that username was associated with.

I went into cPanel to double-check my work, and it wiped out all the addon domains.

When I went in to see if I could readd them manually, I get this error:

    Addon Domain
Bind reloading on server using rndc zone: [domain.com] The subdomain, subdomain.domain.com has been added.
Error from park wrapper: addondomain is owned by another user.

Removed Entry from httpd.conf The subdomain, addondomain has been removed.

addondomain could not be setup. The subdomain subdomain.domain.com was not setup either.
I'm sure there's a simple fix for this, so could someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks a million!

cPanel sometimes doesn't update the subdomains/addon domains when you change the parent domain name. In order to fix this, some manual work is required. Basically you have to edit the configuration files including httpd.conf, /etc/localdomains and /var/cpanel/users/USERNAME file to change the parent domain name with the subdomains. Once you correct the subdomains, those will appear in cPanel along with the addon domains. If you are not comfortable in doing this, please open a support ticket and we will fix it.

Thanks for the quick reply! I love how on the ball you lot are.

I'll try everything out tomorrow and if I break something (because that's how I learn best), I'll open a ticket.
