    VPS Initial Options Help?

Setting up a new VPS account. And I am getting asked questions like do I want Fantastico and RVSkin? Any advice on this, are there disadvantages to getting these things. Not even sure what it all includes.

Also the KB articles say Jaguar recommends CentOS, is that what most are using? Is CentOS with Cpanel a good choice. Thanks.

    Hi "ancient",

Running various domains and creating separate areas for developers. I am the same guy you gave advice to in the semi-dedicated discussion, but that will not work since I need the separate areas for developers. What do these add on products provide for me?

    Thanks.

then I would tell support to set you up as close to the shared environment as they can.

I would leave off Fantastico, that is pointless IMO

RVSkin may be a nice addon, but not needed, you can look at the benefits of RVSkin at www.rvskin.com

I wopuld stay with CentOS, this is the OS Jag uses on all the shared servers and it is the one the techs are more filmier with. Plus it is a Good OS (rebadge of Redhat)

    Any other Questions?
