Exclamation My new VPS account and DNS questions

    Hello,

today I've got setup my new VPS account here at JaguarPC. For first I would like to setup my first domain (which was inserted in the order), here is what I have done:
    1. Went to my cPanel
    2. Basic cPanel/WHM Setup -> clicked at Assign IP addres at primary nameserver and at secondary nameserver.
    3. DNS Functions >> Add a DNS Zone -> I've entered my first IP address and created mydomain.com
    4. Entered again my first IP address and created ns1.mydomain.com
    5. Entered second domain address and created ns2.mydomain.com
    6. Created private nameservers at goDaddy.com and forward the domain to my DNS's.

Now after a while my domain is loading. I just would like to ensure if that steps were okay, or I've done something wrong as I'm new to those DNS things and I would like to have everything okay.

    Thank you.

If you are hosting mydomain.com on your vps, then you need to actually create the domain on your vps (whm -> Create a new account) instead of just creating a dns zone alone.

    The rest looks fine.
