    Question VPS non-existent (!!!)

    Hi,

There is actually no problems on my VPS, but there is one thing have really made me curious!!

Each night, for the last couple of days, my VPS go in "non existent" status and come back 5 or 10 seconds later.

When I put the cursor on "VPS non-existent", it said "VPS is destroyed"...

    Take a look...

Well, it do not seems to cause any damage at all... but this seems pretty strange!!

Anyone having an idea what this can be all about???

    Thanks!!!

I believe that it means "non existent status", it happens on all vps systems and doesn't seem to have any effect.

I think it means exactly what it says on the tin - your VZPP is non-existent, i.e. crashed, but is restarted within 5 seconds.

Certainly "non-existent" is not one of the recognised statuses generated by VZPP (click on "Help" -> "VPS Statuses section" from the Status Changes screen).

Searching the 'net it seems other people have this problem (e.g. http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?threadid=41767 ) but I have yet to find an answer as to why VZPP has gone away (other than it being buggy software? ).

Well , this not seems to cause any real problems, as it happens for a couple of seconds... but it is really strage.

As you say, it must be related to some kind of bug in Virtuozzo...

    Thanks for your help!
