It's been down since about 10:30 AM, and as of 3:20 PM (per the announcement), support was running FSCK. I don't want to bug support, as I'm sure they're already getting hell about it.
Any ETA, those of you in the know?
Thanks.

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once every few weeks.
My scripts never have bugs. They just develop random features.
I think Masood's already given the clue for this. Jag are going through a sequence of kernel updates on the servers. The subsequent reboot and fsck are pulling more gremlins out of the shadows as they do each box.
This is not a happy time for the Dream Team - I bet they're pulling their hair out. Especially when Andromeda went pop-bang-dead completely.![]()

You know the expression "There's always someone worse off than yourself"?
Another datacenter I use in Virginia had a total power outage this morning. That's around 4500 servers vanished off the net for minimum 2 hours and the techs there are running around hairless rebooting the boxes that didn't make it back up on their own. (Mine was one of the lucky ones)![]()
