    Oh My God

    Aaaaarrggghhhh....!!!!

This is not my month. I've been having problems all week with my new Enterprise server and when I finally got it working reliably (thanks for the advice everyone) I had to delay moving all my sites to it as my old Freedom VPS went down for a big chunk of Friday

Anyway, I finally got the sites moved and contacted support on Saturday morning to close the OLD Vps. I was told to fill in the online form, which I did, and I sat and waited.

This morning (while still waiting for a response to the cancellation form) I got a bill for the OLD account. I logged in to the account and not only are they billing me for the old VPS (which is empty) but there is a note saying that they are about to delete my new VPS !!!

With any luck someone will read my request to STOP before my sites all go down...it's already dissapeared from the 'manage sites' section

    Cheers

PS before anyone suggests it, I made it absolutely clear which VPS I no longer required...

    Jagged,

Was purely a mistake of hitting wrong button in the billing system, we never touched anything server side

LOL there's nothing like keeping your customers on their toes! I'm still feeling dizzy from 30 minutes of frantic database backups just in case it all went tits up

    Cheers

    Jagged,

Nothing to fear I had the ticket claimed the entire time, just with it being so chaotic I did not have a chance to swap them out in the billing system you just saw some red words

Jagged, something somewhat similar happened to me (regarding billing),

I had a standard reseller account, then upgraded to a VPN. I was getting billed for both and caught it 4 months down the line. I called support & they gave me a credit for the months that i paid for on my old reseller account.

    Great Customer Support

yes, when you upgrade in a situation like that always make sure that you cancel the old account.. usually they keep it open due to the simple fact a VPS is not just an "upgrade" its a whole new account

My scripts never have bugs. They just develop random features.
