    PHP not recognized madness

I have created a PDO handle in a script, and within that script it is working fine. When I pass the handle to an object, however, bizarrely I get a "what should Firefox do with this file?" box in my browser. The arrangement works fine on my local machine - this only happens on my VPS. I need to investigate further, but does anyone have any idea what might be causing this offhand?

To better define the issue - a PDO prepared statement in a class is causing the problem. Outside of the class the prepared statement works fine.

I know zilch about "PDO", but what's the filename that Firefox doesn't know how to handle?
