Can anyone explain what the $2 installation fee is for on the VPS's please? I should have asked when I signed up really but I just assumed that it would be a one of fee and not a monthly one? I'm more curious really.

Did you add some addons to your vps like Fantastico or something? You can confirm with Sales though.
Hi Masood, that is what the addon is called. Although on my last invoice its actually listed as:
Installatron ( $2.00)
^ note the spelling!
10gb space, 150gb transfer, 128mb ram
Addons
Cpanel - vps ( $7.00)
RAM - 128 MB ( $10.00)
Installatron ( $2.00)
Installatron is not Installation! Installatron is like Fantastico, it is a script library to install scripts with the click of your mouse... It is not a requirement in anyway, you can remove it if you want but here is the website for Installatron if you are confused: http://www.installatron.com/

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once every few weeks.
My scripts never have bugs. They just develop random features.
Installatron is a script installer similar to Fantastico but for multiple platforms (Fantastico only works with cPanel). It is probably a charge for Fantastico, but labeled wrong and not a misspelling of "installation."

D'oh, Danial beat me to it!
If you did not add it in your order, you can contact sales department by openning a sales ticket from your client area to have it removed and credit you accordingly.
Haha, sorry Jason! Nice link![]()

doh, i feel silly now! thanks anyway!!
That was the CLOSEST grouping of like posts I have seen in a while! Glad that helped, that is not the first time I have seen that mistake, I would suggest JPC editing the order form to say Installatron Script Installer instead

Just for reference, here is a comparison chart between Fantastico and Installatron:

In case anybody wants to know the difference(s)
