Is this server better suited for me?

Hi,

I am currently using the highest Linux VPS plan available, but it is not meeting my expectations. I plan on moving to a dedicated server, but JaguarPC's prices for dedicated servers are outrageous, imo!

I was planning on moving to a server with these specs:

Single Processor Quad Core Xeon 3210 - 2.13GHz (Kentsfield) - 2 x 4MB cache
2 GB DDR2 667
100 Mbps Public & Private Networks
+ the usual (cP, etc)

The question is, will the server above "outdo" the VPS server I am currently on?
