Thank you for the info. I see now why I was unable to install it. Man that sucks big time because a big majority of our clients still use frontpage. Oh well ill have to consider moving frontpage users to cpanel then. Thank you so much for the help

    Um...

They've got Windows VPS hosting available here, don't they?

When I was running IIS, I was working at a severe disadvantage because I wasn't using FrontPage.

    Hrm...

Is FrontPage even supported by Microsoft any more? I've been out of the MS loop for a while...

    No worries.

I'm fairly sure that you'll run in to the same problem with cpanel for the same reason: end-of-life.

It appears to be available at the moment on my new (as of last month) cpanel / whm install (at least, there's an install FPSE button), but I doubt that will continue to be the case.

How do I install FrontPage extensions on my website?

You can install FrontPage extensions from your control panel. If that does not work, please open a support ticket.

It was replaced with Web Extensions Salespeak for Shiny Enterprise (tm), or somesuch.

I thought FPSE was supposed to be a security nightmare anyway. FP was certainly a markup nightmare, when I tried it for five minutes some years back.

At a place where I used to be hosted, the owner taught FrontPage at some college in New York City. He couldn't believe I didn't use it.

LoL! He thought everyone used FrontPage.

It never entered his mind that someone would actually design a web page using NotePad...

    That's cute!

Unfortunately, I can't seem to break my love affair with Winsyntax

I guess I should write an article...

    EDIT

LoL! I thought I would take the easy way out and request that a page be created...

    Wrong! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...ested_articles

It would be easier to write the damn thing myself...
