Can't get my Teamspeak fired up after power outage.

I don't really know why, but I cannot get teamspeak to run now after the power outage yesterday.

For some reason it is not recognising the SQL database that self installs with the APP.

I am running CentOS 5 with suexec on a VPS.

I have had support on it since yesterday but with no better results than I'm getting.

Any help here will be appreciated... tell me what you need me to post for help.

I have trolled through the teamspeak forum for help but most threads over there die a slow death without much help... the couple of things I tried from there just caused more issues for me... telling me to delete files and try again.

I have gone as far as deleting the entire app and starting again... but still a no go.

If you have this running on your VPS please give me a holler!!!

    Thanks!

This was fixed by Veena in support... turned out to be the /tmp partition was mounted noexec when the VPS was rebooted. It had to be unmounted, start the app, and then secure var/tmp again.

    Excellent Work JagPC Dream Team!!!

    They pulled through!

I think 'the_ancient' was right - GNAX Atlanta sucks - and I don't say that lightly!

Can you imagine the solicitude this has caused Greg & Company?!?!?

Yeah I agree... I have not been pleased with the up and down connection speeds since I got here... but It's not Jag, it the surrounding connectors that are killing me....

It'll be interesting to see what he does, no?

I just got off the phone with sales yesterday requesting a possible move to the Dallas Datacenter and he stated it's all but a ghost town for JPC... they have moved almost everything to Atlanta... so I don't see a move coming anytime soon...

    Maybe Florida...

I hear they have an abundance of angelologists and parapsychologists down there, that can chase down wraiths and other aberrations!

I live in one of the nation's three most haunted cities... I was out takin pics and testing some new equipment...

It is in Houston, not Dallas. Maybe there will be a new JPC Data Center built soon in the city! Greg did mumble about it once on the forum if I recall correctly.

Perhaps this is the straw that broke uncle Joe's back and will get the project off the ground.

Thing is, I think they DID/do have a data center in Dallas as well, so if you said Dallas in your chat with sales, they may not have realized you meant Houston.
    Good luck
