    Exclamation Mail clients not connecting to mail server

    Dear friends,

    During the last days we are getting the same problem with mail service in different VPS's: Mail accounts configured in locl clients (i.e. Outlook) cannot connect to mail server. Mail clients show an Error message "Authentication failed (bad password?)" and error number in the server 0x800CCC90.

    This was fixed by support staff a couple of days ago and is happening again in 2 VPS's.

    What is the reason for this and how can be fixed?

    It sounds like is could be a bad upgrade to something on the VPS. What control pannel are you using (if you are using one)? Do you have automatic updates enabled or have you recently done any updates manually?
