Good thing that tech support doesn't post here how frustrated they are with some clients, eh? ...

They aren't paid to put up with people who come to a public forum and badmouth them.

Do you stand up on the counter at the grocery store and yell "THE CASHIERS HERE SUX" if they make an error, even repeatedly?

Or are you only so impolite in anonymity?

PS You would have received the exact same result had you privately PMed Masood or Robert.

(Do you like being chastised in public?)
    Good luck

Yes, I take evil delight in trying to be a nicer person. It's a personal fault that I am dealing with, so thank you for your concern.

I worked my way through college (both undergrad and grad school) working retail. I've often thought as part of public education EVERYONE should work at least one year in some type of service job. That way everyone will know what it's like working for the public. Maybe they might treat the people that are now serving them a little nicer.

I agree. I worked for Best Buy 4 years ago for 3 years doing customer service and then moved onto another company that is the largers online retailer and deal with angry customers because they just dont read instructions or listen to the messages we leave for them.

For instance yesterday I had a lady that her order was delayed because it was a FIRST time order and it was over a certian dollar and we needed to verify it was her. We left a message to call us back and she didn't do so till the next day. Well she got pissed and all that good stuff and then demaned we deliver her printer NOW. I nicely explained her that I can call her local store and see if they have one in stock. They had 9 so I asked the customer if she would be willing to goto the local store. She REFUSED and said "Are you going to come and run my business while I get the printer" I again gave her the option to goto the store that day and get it which was 11 mins away from her or wait till the next day to have it delivered.

JAG has been good to me and I can not complain. If you issue is not fixed ask for the manager and if you get nothing from them ask for the Exec. Customer Service.

Sounds familiar. Wonder if I'm on your old node. Just got done getting support on the case WHILE it was happening. Load avg was >3 and I was using 0-4% with my procs.

Sadly, I'm not sure if they're hunting for the culprit since the first thing they did was shut down MY DB and http services.

Maybe I'll get a new node too... but really, shouldn't they be finding who's draining the resources and make them stop or increase their package?

P.S. Support was on the case within minutes. It's just tough finding this moving target and having a new guy on the case each time. So I'm in no way endorsing the initial premise of this thread.
