my VPS not good

I just moved my site from Bluehost to Jaguarpc VPS, I have using ssh to transfer a zip file (100Mb) from BH to my VPS , but when transfer big file from BH to VPS, the VPS httpd will down for a long time (maybe five or ten minutes or more), I can not access to my sites via http (some domain only have default page but can not open too) , also my friend from US can not open the site too (when file transfering ) . Please help me check the configuration of my VPS, maybe something wrong ??? I have submit a ticket but he do not answer for this issue .

I hope will stay with Jaguar VPS, I dont want to move site again ...
