    Unhappy MX Problems

Not sure if this should go into here or the E-Mail sub-forum, please move it if this is wrong.

I have both a VPS and a SDX with JPc and a slight problem. My domain, elvenblade.co.uk points to the SDX at the moment (all .co.uk e-mail addresses work without a problem) and up until a week ago elvenblade.com did too.
Now elvenblade.com points to the VPS and all is fine for ftp, http and such.

In WHM I have setup the MX as follows:
    Domain: elvenblade.com
    TTL: 1440
    Record Type: MX
    0 elvenblade.com.

and an A record for elvenblade.com pointing to the correct IP address.

My problem, I can send E-Mails from an account on the server but I cannot receive mail. I looked at the FAQs on here but none of them seem to apply.

Any other details needed, let me know.

If that's a cut and paste, it looks like you're missing a dot after
    Domain: elvenblade.com
    Should be
    Domain: elvenblade.com.

Effectively, without the dot, your VPS is only accepting mail for the sub-sub-domain: elvenblade.com.elvenblade.com.

You should not touch your MX record if your web and email both are on your vps. If you are on cPanel and touch your MX, the cPanel system may have updated mail server configuration NOT to receive email (because of your custom MX setting).

The settings for the MX are as they were when I first logged ino the VPS, just posting what they are as they dont work, and also, the wasnt a cut and paste, I missed the . on the end but it is there in the DNS settings.

When someone sends you the email do they get a bouced back message? If so what does it say? And this might sound like a stupid question but did you create all the accounts under cpanel for your emails when you moved the domain?
