How to install Spam Button Plugin on SquirrelMail?

I need some help installing this spam button plugin for SquirrelMail, here is the link to download the spam button plugin. But how do you go about installing it?

What control panel are you using? That will determine where you'll find the squirrelmail install. As for actual installation instructions, open up the archive and you'll find a file named "INSTALL" that outlines exactly what you have to do.

I'm using DirectAdmin.
Where is this archive you are talking about?

The plugin download file is the "archive." So called because that type of file was originally designed for packing files together for easy backup or archiving. "tar" (as in .tar.gz) actually stands for "tape archive" as the program that creates tar files was originally used for writing files to reel-to-reel tapes. Sorry that the lingo confused you.

I've never used DirectAdmin, but with a couple of clicks on the DirectAdmin site it appears to be located at /var/www/html/squirrelmail.
