carkoon has been slow since yesterday.

I am a new cpanel vps customer on the carkoon node. The first night things were flying and the server was great. Since then, however it's been continually getting slower and more sluggish. Trying to upload a site, for example, is fluctuating 80-100KB/sec, frequently pausing and continuing, a very blocky transfer (and I have 1.8mbps upload bandwidth). Using the server itself (WHM/Cpanel) seems to follow a similar sluggish pattern. Considering i get a 20ms ping and 0% packet loss to my server, I can only assume it's hardware, and not connection related on either end.

I am on the Apollo vps plan, and signed up through the upgraded SizzlinSummer Special which offers 44GB space, 576MB ram, and 1TB bandwidth. Based on those specs, my vps should be similarly capable to a p4 celeron or so, full dedicated server. Your claim to fame "Blazing fast, industry leading performance across all hardware nodes!", is one of the reasons I signed up, and I just am not seeing that.

Also, with nothing even running on the vps yet, the free command is showing 16552080k used and 65224k free(65MB). I'm not sure if this has to do with my resource usage or the server as a whole.

    Hi cam94z28,

Have you opened a support ticket for this ? If not then please do so and if you have opened it already then pm me your ticket number and we can check into the performance issues you are referring to.

Also for the ram , linux OS caches the available ram so it can organize it better and supply it to applications and services that demand it , that ram is also the part of ram that is available on the server and for nodes like this the cached ram is around 5 to 6 gb and in carkoon's case I can see its above 6 Gb at this time.

It appears to be running fine after updating cpanel to RELEASE, and tweaking SQL according to a post I found on the forum.

Just a quick question. Is the load average shown via ssh the load average of the vps, or of the server as a whole?
