    Trouble after upgrade

    Hi,
has anybody running clipshare script encounterd difficulties after the latest upgrades to the servers?
It seems i cant get thumbnails generated. otherwise video conversion is that same, just the thumbnails would not generate... tried permissions, php4, php5 etc. Support is helpful, but in this instance can't do much. Everything was running fine before the upgrades. would appreciate any help.
    thanks.

I remember reading somewhere on the Net about a similiar problem... I was looking for something else and ran across something about Clipshare and SuPHP...

I think it recommended upgrading to the latest available version, but if you are already running it then I am not sure!

    thanks,
since conversions and all things work as before, just the thumbnails generation it must be something with mplayer/ffmpeg.. will check the paths and permissions again. Would this upgrade have modified the permissions or paths to ffmpeg/mplayer/flvtool2 etc.? shouldn't have, but one never knows. will try again.

permissions or paths to ffmpeg/mplayer/flvtool2 have not changed.

Have you checked with developers for any issue with older scripts?

CS-Pro Requirement : Allowed execution of background processes with exec("binary > /dev/null &") thats why i think no more background processes here as i found out it seems... thus my clip share wouldn't start from the off

While you're waiting for a fellow client to help, maybe you could check in with a Support ticket. They may have seen the issue before. Maybe FFMPEG isn't installed right or something.
    Good luck

Have you checked your CPanel error log for any hints? Sometimes gold can be found there.
    Good luck

all the videos i uploaded went to /video directory which is correct according to the manual.. but /flvideo directory was empty so i dragged one video file there to see if it played.. and it plays o_O
