Vps connection timout

during the day I notice i cant connect to my vps via browser. It says connection timeout. I login with ssh and I do service httpd restart and that restarts apache. then it works fine. does anyone else have a similar problem or know a solution?

I've seen occasional "blips" where I try to access my VPS and it doesn't connect, but after clicking reload or the "try again" button in Firefox all is immeadiately well. This is pretty infrequent, so I haven't made an attempt to track it down yet.
