problem to view an account website in browser

Hello,

I can't view in a browser the website in an account I have created, using http://69.xxx.xxx.xxx/~accountname on my VPS, instead of using a domain name www.xxxx.com for example.
When I was using a reseller account there is no problem to view the webpage using http://69.xxx.xxx.xxx/~accountname.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Different control panels do things differently, so we need to know a bit about your VPS. Is it cPanel or something else?

I'm using WHM/CPanel. I have applied the suggestions for securing my VPS. Maybe some configuration is preventing to view account by name http://ip/~accountname?

Check your htaccess file. That may be the issue. Also try http://ip/~accountname/index.html

or .htm, or php, etc.. Whatever format your index page is.
