Do you want to use shoutcast server on a dedicated server or a VPS?
Do you have Windows or Linux?

I have Shoutcast and PicoIcy running perfectly on a linux VPS, so you will be able to as well!

    The default username is admin
the default password is "changme" without the quotes. If you have changed it, make sure there are no additional spaces before or after the password.

What program are you using to broadcast to your shoutcast server?

Login via SSH as root, or as the user you started sc_server with
    type: ps x <press enter>
look for the Process ID associated with your currently running sc_serv
    type: kill -9 <process ID> <press enter>
    eg: kill -9 34485 <press enter>

The process will die within a few moments
    type: ps x <press enter>
make sure the process has stopped.

Glad to have been able to assist!
